Who is responsible

What we hold
- Your contact details: your name and email address, which you give us when you ask for a quote or order.
- Your company: its name and website.
- Your scope: the buyers, competitors and markets you confirm for the report.
- Order records: what you ordered, the quote, when you paid and when we delivered.
- Server logs: when you visit this site, our hosting provider records each request, with its IP address, time, page and browser.
Of these, your contact details and the server logs are personal data, as is anything personal you add to your scope. Payment details are collected by Polar, not by us: your card details never reach us.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. If you switch between light and dark, the choice is kept in your browser’s local storage and never sent to us.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
- To quote, run and deliver your order and to answer you: this is needed for our contract with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the business records the law requires: a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To keep this site running and secure, using the server logs: our legitimate interest in a working, secure site (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who receives it
- Polar (polar.sh) is the merchant of record for our sales. It takes your payment, handles tax and issues your invoice, under its own terms and privacy policy. It tells us what we need to deliver your order.
- [email provider] sends the report and our emails to you.
- [hosting provider] hosts this site and keeps its server logs.
- Anthropic, through its API, answers the questions the report is built on. It receives the briefs, written questions about your category, and no personal data.
- typesafe.ai, through its Jev service, classifies the answers’ text. It receives no personal data.
We send your scope to the AI providers only to run your order.
How long we keep it

Then we delete them. Polar keeps its own payment records under its own policy.
Transfers outside the EEA
Some of our providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer is covered by [transfer safeguards].
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, or send it to you or to someone else in a portable form.
